QUARTZ MEMORY SENSORS

Spartek Systems offers three models of quartz memory sensors, SS5063 (177°C - 10K and 16K Psi), SS5067 (177°C - 5k, 10K, 16K, 20K, 25K, 30K, 35K Psi), and SS5200 (200° C-16K, 20K, 25K, 30K, 35K Psi) . All models are based on proven quartz technology pressure transducers coupled with Spartek Systems' superior high temperature electronics and proprietary digital signal processing technology, providing the best data quality and reliability. Quartz technology provides superior performance in applications where data quality is critical.
The transducer provides better long-term stability and higher accuracy than piezoresistive transducers. Spartek Systems offers a full line of competitively priced quartz sensors for a variety of applications; low pressure, low temperature, high pressure, high temperature and corrosive environments.

SAPPHIRE MEMORY SENSORS
Spartek Systems again demonstrates superior technological innovation with its latest series of sapphire crystal pressure memory loggers, the SS2300, SS2500 and SS2700 series.
This new series of sensors incorporates the latest in low power three volt technology to minimize power consumption.
Depending on sample rate, a pressure logger could run for up to a year on a single AA battery, without sacrificing signal resolution or sample rate to reduce power consumption.
The recorders use a proprietary Parallel Digital Dual (PDD) signal processing technique to maximize signal-to-noise ratio and improve resolution.
The SS2700 series also incorporates hybrid electronic technology to ensure long-term operation at high temperatures. Software in support of the new Sapphire series has been enhanced to provide programming features such as pressure triggers, multiple job scheduling, detailed job logging, high sampling rates (up to 10 samples per second), improved user diagnostics, and compatibility with the USB interface. Manufactured for pressures from 0.75K and through various ranges up to 20K and to work in environments from 135°C, 150°C and up to 177°C. Contact us for more information.

HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT ACQUISITION TOOL

The SS2110 Hostile Environment Acquisition Tool (HEAT) is a memory-based instrument designed to acquire temperature and pressure data in the most challenging well environments. It is capable of logging up to 666,666 pressure and temperature data points and operating at well temperatures up to 315.5 C° and pressures up to 20,000 psi. The HEAT has demonstrated superior operating performance in wells with temperatures above 300 C°. The instrument uses a vacuum heater to isolate the internal electronics, pressure transducer and batteries from the high temperatures in the well and employs a special tool case made of Inconel - 718 to provide resistance to any corrosive chemicals present in the well.

The SparGauge software package controls memory programming and data download for the tool. The software also makes data presentation easy, allowing the user to quickly create gradient plots, graphs of pressure and temperature versus time and many other reports with minimal effort. Additionally, when combined with Spartek's line management system, pressure and temperature data can be presented in an API log format to display pressure and temperature curve data versus well depth.
For easy reference, the theoretical temperatures and time durations that the HEAT will operate are 600°F (315°C) for 4 hours, 500°F (260°C) for 6 hours, and 400°F (204°C) up to 8 hours.

GAS LIFT SIDE POCKET MANDREL GAUGE

Spartek introduced the first 1" Side Pocket Chuck (SPM) to the oil and gas industry in 1998.
The external configuration resembles that of a conventional pocket gas lift pocket valve
and the sensor uses the same sealing and latch surfaces as the standard gas lift valve.
The sensor can also be configured and retrieved using standard tools.
The obvious advantage of the side pocket arrangement is that the pressure sensor in the pocket
provides a non-intrusive environment, allowing well fluids or gas to flow unimpeded.
The SPM sensor has been designed to withstand hazardous environments, particularly during set-up and recovery,
and is constructed from either 17-4 or Inconel 718 heat treated to provide a very rigid mechanical mount
and to withstand over 15,000 psi of pressure.
This material is also resistant to well stimulation fluids, which can often be very corrosive.
The electronics and mounting layout have been specifically designed for this rugged application
and the sensor uses the same patented technology as Spartek's Sapphire family of sensors
providing performance unmatched in the industry.

Primary Characteristics
 Superior data quality / stability
 Low power consumption
 Large memory capacity
 Pressure trigger
 Windows compatible

Applications
 Long-term monitoring of flowing wells with no tubing restrictions

 Pressure monitoring behind the water injection valve
 Simultaneous monitoring of tube and carry pressure

MULTI - CYCLE SHUT-IN TOOL

The SS3100 Multi-Cycle Shut-In Tool (SIT)
has been designed for a improved reliability and security. The instrument has been thoroughly tested,
and our engineers have implemented
a double level mounting system
that virtually eliminates impact on electronics.
The Multi-Cycle SIT has proven to be a valuable tool
in tests where wellbore storage
or access to location are factors.
The reduction in wellbore storage minimizes test time,
and usually improves data quality for analysis,
especially when evaluating
the effects of near wellbore damage (skin).
The ability to shut-in the well downhole
and have it reopen automatically
means production need not be lost
if the location is not accessible.
A single SIT or multiple Shut-In Tools can be deployed
in a particular well to facilitate build-up surveys,
dependent on the number of independent zones
in the wellbore completion profile.
This flexibility can provide vital test information
at minimalcosts to the operator.

The system uses
an intelligent primary lithium battery pack
not restricted for transport (a rechargeable lithium ion pack with attached charger is also available).
This power system
provides the user with the necessary feedback
to ensure that sufficient power is available
for the duration of the log test.
With memory capable of storing 4 million samples,
when fully charged, this low-power WHDR
has the capacity to acquire data for over a year.
